How Flick’s Movie Club handles privacy

Flick’s Movie Club is the part of prostylezcinema.com made for children. It’s run by Pro Stylez Entertainment, LLC. This page explains what the club does and doesn’t do with information.

What the club never asks for

No accounts, names, email addresses, birthdays, photos, recordings, uploads, chat or comments. Downloads never need an email. Coloring contests happen on paper at events; nothing is entered online.

What stays on your device

Stories typed in the Director’s Desk, matches in the Sound Studio and other activity choices stay in the open page’s memory. They aren’t saved in cookies or browser storage, aren’t sent to us, and disappear when the page is reloaded or closed. Printing happens in your own browser.

No analytics, ads or tracking tools in the club

Club pages don’t load Google Analytics, page-speed reporting, advertising, social media widgets, video players, the website chat assistant, site search or the movie shortlist. That’s true even if a grown-up accepted analytics elsewhere on the Cinema website. The club doesn’t set any cookies of its own.

What our hosting and security services still see

Like every website, the pages have to be delivered over the internet. When anyone visits:

  • Cloudflare (our security and delivery network) handles the request. It sees the visitor’s IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block attacks, and it may set a short-lived security cookie or show a “checking your browser” page when traffic looks automated.
  • Our web server, hosted on Spider Hosting, keeps standard access logs: IP address, time, page address, the previous page (referrer) and browser type. We use them only for security and fixing problems.
  • If a browser already has cookies from the main Cinema website (for example a cookie-notice choice), the browser still sends them. Club pages don’t read or use them.

We don’t use any of this to build a profile or to find out who a visitor is, and we don’t sell or share it for advertising.

Leaving the club

Every link out of the club goes through the leaving page in For Grown-Ups first. The main Cinema website has its own privacy policy, forms and optional analytics.
