What shapes your quote
Your expected crowd and venue (they set the screen and sound size), the date and location, the add-ons you choose, and, if we arrange the license, the licensor’s fee for your title and audience size. The quote form asks about each of these.
Licensing, Handled
Most community, school-event, HOA, and other public screenings require public-performance rights, even when admission is free and even for a title you already own. A private gathering of family and social acquaintances may be different. Tell us about your event and we’ll help confirm what rights are needed. We can arrange the license for you for a small added fee, or you’re welcome to handle it yourself. The license fee itself is set by the licensor and quoted separately. Either way, we make sure it’s squared away before movie night.
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s included in a Movie Night?
Every booking includes the screen, projector, sound, and a crew for setup, operation, and teardown. Concessions, lighting, licensing, and travel are quoted separately when needed, so you only pay for what your event calls for.
Do I need a movie license?
Most community, school-event, HOA, and other public screenings require public-performance rights, even when admission is free or you already own the movie. A private gathering of family and social acquaintances may be different. Tell us about your event and we’ll help confirm what rights are needed.
What if I already own the movie or have it on a streaming service?
Owning a copy or having a personal streaming subscription only covers watching at home. Showing it publicly still requires a license, which we can help arrange.
Who handles the movie license?
We can arrange it for you for a small added fee, or you’re welcome to secure it yourself. Either way, we’ll make sure it’s in place before your event. The license fee itself is set by the licensor and quoted separately.
